Ventura County Contractors Association is stoked to introduce the Careers in Construction Scholarship Program, tailored towards goofy-footers who want to build a gnarly career out of construction!
The program is open to all individuals who are pursuing a “Career in Construction”. Each applicant will need to have a minimum of one recommendation that accompanies his or her application. The recommendation may be from one of the following: owner(s), partner(s), teachers, instructors, officers, or employees of a local construction- oriented business firm. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in either a university, college, community college, or trade school. Applicants must also meet the following GPA minimum requirements:
Minimum GPA of 2.5 over the last 2 years of High School. Applicants with a lower GPA are invited to submit applications if accompanied by a letter of recommendation from a current teacher or counselor.
